How to Use Apowersoft iPhone/iPad Recorder — Step‑by‑Step Guide
Requirements
- Windows or macOS computer with Apowersoft iPhone/iPad Recorder installed (download from Apowersoft site).
- iPhone/iPad and computer on the same Wi‑Fi network.
- iOS device with AirPlay (most modern iOS versions).
1) Install and open Apowersoft on your computer
- Download and install the Apowersoft iPhone/iPad Recorder for your OS.
- Launch the app and open its Options/Settings to set output folder, video format (MP4 recommended), video quality, and audio input (system, microphone, or both).
2) Enable AirPlay mirroring from your iOS device
- On iPhone/iPad, open Control Center:
- iPhone X or later / iPadOS: swipe down from top‑right.
- Older devices: swipe up from bottom.
- Tap Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) and select the device labeled “Apowersoft [your‑computer‑name]”.
- Toggle Mirroring on; your iOS screen should appear on the computer.
3) Configure audio
- If you need device audio: ensure Apowersoft is set to capture system audio.
- To record your voice, enable Microphone in Apowersoft settings or press-and-hold Screen Recording on iOS to enable Microphone if using native recorder (only when not mirroring).
- Test briefly to confirm audio is captured.
4) Start and stop recording
- With the iOS screen mirrored, click the red Record button in Apowersoft to begin recording.
- Perform the actions you want to capture on the iOS device.
- Click the Record button again (or Stop) to finish. The file saves to the configured output folder.
5) Basic editing & sharing
- Use Apowersoft’s built‑in export options to convert or change format if needed.
